Vladikavkaz Mathematical Journal is a peer-reviewed periodical that publishes original research papers with current mathematical advances of Russian and foreign authors. Submissions cover a wide range of topics, including functional, complex and order analysis, operator theory, algebra, geometry, differential equations, mathematical physics. Survey manuscripts are also allowed, but with the special requests of the Editorial Board.

The journal is intended for researchers, teachers, postgraduate and undergraduate students. It publishes four regular issues each year. Full text articles published in the journal are available for free open access on the official site of the journal http://www.vmj.ru, as well as on the sites of the Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.RU, the All-Russian Mathematical Portal Math-Net.Ru, and the Scientific Electronic library "CYBERLENINKA".

The journal is one of the leading Russian peer-reviewed scientific journals included in the List of the Higher Attestation Commission (VAK) under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The journal is included to the Russian Science Citation Index on the Web of Science Core Collection platform and is indexed by the international science citation database Scopus. The papers of the journal are abstracted in zbMATH, MathSciNet, RZh Mathematics.

Vladikavkaz Mathematical Journal publishes original papers on both Russian and English languages. The expected size of the paper is no longer than 17 A4 pages. Manuscripts exceeding this value could be submitted only by the special decision of the Editorial Board. Articles submitted to the journal undergo a standard blind peer review process. The review period normally does not exceed 8 months.

The publication is free of charge for the authors. The Editorial Board does not charge authors for preparation, placement and printing of materials. In its work, the journal is based on the principles of editorial ethics developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
